Accomplished Student-Athlete Set to Join Crimson Football Program in 2026

While the term describes any student who participates in their school’s sports, few student-athletes exemplify both academic and athletic excellence quite like Trinity High School’s Jonah Williamson, whom M:7 Sports has assisted in his recruitment journey.
As a record-setting, dual-threat quarterback and standout student with a 4.7-GPA, Williamson is the complete package whose accomplishments and hard work on and off the field have led to a milestone that most people his age only dream of: After receiving college offers from some of the nation’s top schools over the last few months, he has committed to attending Harvard University and playing for the Crimson beginning in 2026.

Possessing excellent decision-making and down-field accuracy, the 6’2”, 210 lb. QB has led the Trinity Hillers to the WPIAL 4A Playoffs the past two years while racking up yards both through the air and on the ground. Following a breakout sophomore campaign in which he set the Trinity’s single-season record for passing yards (1,860), he threw for 1,059 yards and six touchdowns last season while rushing for 814 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns.
“Jonah’s commitment to Harvard, one of the most prestigious universities in our country, is a true representation of how special he is,” said Trinity HS Football Head Coach Dan Knause. “Our program focuses on the Person-Student-Player structure. Jonah excels in all of these categories and embodies the characteristics we value in Hiller Football. Since starting as a freshman, his journey on and off the field has been impressive. As his senior year approaches, Williamson is focused on helping his Hillers go further in playoffs as he decides on which major to pursue at Harvard. If that’s not enough, he’s also a star catcher for the Trinity’s baseball team and serves as student council class president!
