Rising Marketing & Communications Agency Recognized as One of Pittsburgh Area’s Top Employers

Beaver County-based M:7 Agency — a fully integrated marketing and communications agency specializing in omni-channel B2B and B2C solutions for a variety of industries — was selected as one of the area’s top workplaces at the Pittsburgh Business Times’ annual Best Places to Work event.

Held January 19 at the Rivers Casino Event Center, the Hollywood-themed award ceremony honored dozens of companies for creating highly respected workplaces. Winners were selected based on the results of anonymous online employee surveys. Since 1981, the Pittsburgh Business Times has been a leading source for business news, data, and networking for the Pittsburgh region.

“We’re honored to be recognized as one of the Best Place to Work in the Pittsburgh area,” said Jim Christiana, M:7 Agency’s managing partner and founder. “Since our inception, Jen and I have strived to create a culture of transparency and inclusion, which is a must in order to attract and retain the best candidates, ones that vibe together and have those intangibles that make them special. While our employees were the ones who ‘voted’ us in, we feel fortunate to have such a great team working for us.”

Local companies were judged based on an online employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace on a number of factors including employee job satisfaction, salary satisfaction, and perspectives on management. Adding to their impressive trophy case, M:7 Agency ranked 4th out of 33 winners in the Small Business category (those with up to 24 employees working in Western Pennsylvania).

“It’s really about building a work environment that’s collaborative and welcoming to employees and clients alike,” said M:7 Partner Jen Nolfi. “While our open, modern office space features everything from motorized standing desks to wall-mounted TVs, we also believe in keeping things loose and having fun. Our team spends a good deal of time here, so offering some comforts of home is important. We got a candy bar and even break out the ping pong table or poker chips when we need a little break, or what we call culture hour.”

Founded on a principle from Matthew 7, where we are encouraged to take the narrow path, M:7 Agency prides itself on being a different kind of agency, one that’s focused and relentless, constantly striving to ensure their clients’ success.

According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, even for non-winners, the competition presents a great opportunity for companies to learn what their employees are really thinking and provides them with valuable information to help improve day-to-day operations and the workplace environment.
